About the Program
General questions about the Master E-Tourism
The Master E-Tourism corresponds to the second year (Master 2) of a French national Master’s degree in E-Tourism, Hospitality and MICE. It is a 12‑month program delivered in Da Nang, composed of approximately 6 months of coursework (60 ECTS, 510 hours) and a 6‑month compulsory professional internship with a Master’s thesis.
The program is implemented jointly by DNIIT (Da Nang International Institute of Technology, University of Danang) and Université Côte d’Azur (UCA), France. Upon successful completion, students obtain a French national Master’s degree (Master 2) awarded by Université Côte d’Azur, which is recognized in Vietnam according to the current regulations on recognition of foreign degrees.
All teaching activities of the Master 2 take place in Da Nang, mainly at DNIIT, using official course content validated by Université Côte d’Azur. The 6‑month internship can be carried out in Vietnam or abroad, depending on opportunities and the agreement between the student, the host organization and the academic supervisors.
Most teaching and assessment activities are conducted in French. Some resources and activities may be offered in English. A DELF B2 (or equivalent) level in French is required for admission, while a good command of English is strongly recommended for reading materials and professional communication.
Admissions
Questions about applying and requirements
Candidates must hold a 4‑year Bachelor’s degree in Tourism or a related field (such as Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, etc.) and meet the academic thresholds specified in the official admission notice of the University of Danang and Université Côte d’Azur. Candidates from closely related fields may be required to complete additional bridging courses, as outlined in the admission regulations.
Applicants are required to demonstrate French proficiency at DELF B2 level (or an equivalent French test such as TCF, TEF, etc.). English proficiency at level B1–B2 (or equivalent international certificates) is recommended, as some documents and professional activities may be conducted in English. Detailed language requirements are specified in the official admission proposal.
Candidates prepare their application dossier according to the list of required documents in the admission proposal, then submit it via the online portal or directly to DNIIT within the deadlines announced for each intake. Key dates (opening of applications, deadline and selection period) are published on the official website and in the admission notice.
Selection is based on a holistic review of the application dossier (academic background, language certificates, motivation, references) and, where applicable, an admission interview. The joint admissions committee of the University of Danang and Université Côte d’Azur makes the final decision according to the criteria defined in the official admission regulations.
Tuition, Life & Career
Financial aid, student life, and career prospects
According to the current admission proposal, the tuition fee for the Master E‑Tourism program is 5,580 € per student. The application fee is 1,200,000 VND per applicant per application. Fees are paid in VND at the bank’s selling exchange rate at the time of payment, following the instructions provided by DNIIT. Please refer to the Tuition page for the latest information.
Scholarships and financial support, when available (for example from partner institutions or external funding bodies), are announced in official calls for applications or on the program’s website. Candidates are encouraged to regularly check updated information on tuition, scholarships and financial aid, and to contact the program office for advice on possible funding.
The second part of the program is devoted to a compulsory 6‑month professional internship and the Master’s thesis. Internships are carried out in organizations active in tourism, hospitality, events or digital services. Topics and host organizations must be approved by the academic supervisors of the University of Danang and Université Côte d’Azur, in line with the objectives of the Master E‑Tourism.
Graduates can work in positions such as e‑tourism manager, digital marketing specialist in tourism and hospitality, revenue manager, project manager for smart tourism, tourism product developer, event and MICE coordinator, or consultant in tourism innovation. The combination of a French national Master’s degree and professional internship experience strengthens employability in both the Vietnamese and international labour markets.
